I’m sorry, too. It was my boyfriend at the time who did it. He was abusive in many ways but that’s one thing that happened in our relationship. It’s why I’m such an opponent of rape culture. My ex would never call what he did to me rape. But the bottom line is a blatant “no” followed by pressure and coercion is not consent.
